dc.description.abstractWednesday, June 7th marked the completion of the first phase of the FARC-EP process for laying down their arms: 30% of all registered arms have now been handed over to the United Nations. As of Monday, June 12th, 305 members of the FARC-EP have received their certification for completing the individual process of laying down their arms. On June 6th, after four hours of debate, the House of Representatives approved the 16 special districts (comprising 166 different municipalities most affected by the armed conflict).
